Carleston, W.Va. — Partner Community Capital’s Women’s Business Center proudly announces its graduation from the 2025 cohort of the National WBC of Excellence program, a prestigious initiative led by the Association of Women’s Business Centers (AWBC).

This milestone reflects the dedication and hard work of the Women’s Business Center team and its partners to empower women entrepreneurs and create meaningful opportunities for growth and success.

“At PCAP, we are driven by the stories and successes of our clients,” said Marten Jenkins, President and CEO of Partner Community Capital. “This recognition as a Women’s Business Center of Excellence is a tribute to the incredible entrepreneurs who trust us to support their journeys and to the team members who make it all possible.”

Throughout the program, the Women’s Business Center worked alongside peers in the cohort to strengthen its services by identifying opportunities for growth in areas such as strategic goal setting, client engagement, and operational excellence. At the heart of this achievement are the women business owners whose dreams, determination, and achievements inspire the center’s ongoing work.

“Becoming a Women’s Business Center of Excellence is an incredible achievement,” said Klassi Duncan, AWBC Board Chair and Vice President of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) at the Urban League of Louisiana. “The dedication of these centers to their mission is evident in the life-changing impact they have on women entrepreneurs.”

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the collaboration of the Women’s Business Center’s staff, funders, and volunteers, who all play an integral role in supporting women-owned businesses. The recognition motivates Partner Community Capital to continue its mission of helping women entrepreneurs turn their visions into reality.

The PCAP’s WBC serves women entrepreneurs in West Virginia and exists to support anyone with a dream or idea—regardless of their background, age, or previous experience—with the right tools to get it off the ground or take it to the next level.
