Rural Business Builder Loan
Supporting Small Businesses in Rural WNC
Partner Community Capital’s (PCAP) Rural Business Builder Loan was created to meet the needs of entrepreneurs in rural Western North Carolina, including women and people of color. The Rural Business Builder Loan provides an affordable, flexible lending option for new and existing small business owners in Western NC’s rural communities. It also strives to help entrepreneurs build equity and increase the value of their business. Along with lending, PCAP connects borrowers to specialized advisory services that support the growth of their small business throughout the life of the loan.
How It Works
PCAP will forgive 10% of the original principal amount after a predefined period of successful repayment. This means that the borrower will only need to pay back 90% of the original loan balance. The 10% that PCAP will forgive converts from a business liability to business equity. And the more equity a business has, the more that business is worth!
PCAP’s Rural Business Builder Loan can be up to $250k (or larger when combined with another loan product). Borrowers can use the loan for working capital to pay for everyday expenses, equipment purchases, and/or real estate purchases. The Rural Business Builder Loan can also serve as a companion loan in larger real estate deals.
